Kaffree Jelly is a vegan and de-caffeinated version of a refreshing Japanese summertime dessert, coffee jelly. Enjoy on its own or top it over our vanilla Latte for a summer treat.
2 tbsp Kaffree Roma
1 1/2 cup water
1 tsp / 3g of Agar Agar
1 tbsp Sugar / Agave syrup
1 1/2 cups Silk Vanilla Soy Milk
1/2 tsp Vanilla extract
1 tbsp Kaffree Roma
2 tsp sugar/ agave syrup
1/2 cup water
For Kaffree Jelly – In a saucepan, heat water and bring to boil. Next, add in Kaffree Roma, sugar/agave syrup and agar agar. Mix till everything is well combined.
Pour in a deep dish/ tray to set. Cool down completely and refrigerate for about 1.5- hours or till the jelly sets. Cut in desired shape and keep aside.
In another saucepan, heat water for Vanilla latte. Once the water comes to boil, add in Kaffree roma and mix. Remove from heat and let it cool down.
In a blender, add in the vanilla flavored soy milk, vanilla exract, agave syrup/sugar and kaffree roma mixed in water. Blend till well combined
To serve, in a glass, add in the kaffree Jelly and pour the Vanilla Latte on top.
Make Kaffree Jelly ahead of time and refrigerate to store. Stays good for up to a week.
