Pumpkin Spice lattes are harbingers of everything fall! We all love the limited editions at our favorite coffee chains but you can enjoy it all year long. Make this treat at home this time and enjoy this vegan, non-caffeinated version with Kaffree Roma.
1 tbsp Kaffree Roma
1 cup hot water
1 cup Vegan ‘Milk’ – Your choice
1/2 cup pumpkin puree
1 tsp vanilla essence
1 tsp pumpkin pie spice (or make your own by combining equal parts of powdered cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves)
Sugar as per taste (Can also use Maple syrup/Agave nectar/ coconut sugar etc)
In a saucepan, add the pumpkin puree, vanilla essence, sugar and pumpkin pie spice. Mix well and cook for a few minutes till well combined and thickened.Add the milk and mix well. Heat on medium flame and whisk till frothy.
In a cup, take hot water and add Kaffree Roma. Combine well. Pour this over the prepared milk and mix well.
To serve, pour the Kaffree pumpkin spice latte in cups and top it with a generous serving of whipped cream and a sprinkle of pumpkin pie spice.
